Andrea Sender is a textile artist who currently lives and works in Menorca. She works only with natural materials, especially wool and cotton fibers, which she dyes naturally with different plants.
She specializes in various types of tapestries, using different techniques such as weaving or felting.
Andrea likes to experiment with textures and is always looking for new surprising and daring color combinations.

HOW THEY WORK is a nonprofit project that aims to bring together creative artists from all over the Balearic Islands.
The website seeks to present some rare, behind-the-scenes insights into the life and work of local artists and artisans at their studios. In order to capture the unique character of their work, we provided different photographers for each participant of the project. We hope this website will serve as a useful guide for anyone interested in discovering and supporting their work.
We strongly believe in local communities as a source of health, creativity and support. Nowadays they seem especially important against the selfish individualism and wasteful consumerism that contribute to the destruction of our planet. We wish this website to be the beginning of many beautiful relationships and creative connections.
